“One of Australia’s leading neurotrauma researchers says elite sports teams are grasping the seriousness of concussions but there is still work to be done in ‘weekend warrior’ social leagues.

Speaking ahead of her ‘Pub Yarns’ talk on the topic at the Cottesloe Hotel next Tuesday, Perron Institute neurotrauma research head Professor Melinda Fitzgerald said players remained on the field when they should be heading to a doctor.”
