Research group
Francesca is a PhD candidate at UWA, researching the functional neurophysiology and neuropsychological outcomes of mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). Her research uses a combination of clinical neuropsychology measures and quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG) analysis to obtain a neurophysiological and behavioural understanding of one’s brain following mTBI/ concussion. Alongside her PhD, Francesca has also completed a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychology. She hopes that her research will contribute to a better understanding of functional outcomes following brain injury, and hence the development of individualised neurorehabilitation for brain injury patients.
