Jesse is a senior physiotherapist in the Restorative Neurology Research area.
Jesse completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at The University of Notre Dame and has since worked in the majority of physiotherapy roles at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. In particular, he spent significant time in the areas of Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, the Emergency Department, and a two year stint in private practice that focused on rehabilitation, sports and musculoskeletal injuries.
As a result, Jesse has an extensive understanding of the wide variety of ways that physiotherapy can help people, and is very passionate about improving the quality of life for patients in the community. Since 2016, he has been actively involved in research trials for patients with MS, Parkinson’s and stroke, and is keen to see the studies undertaken at the Perron Institute assist in making helpful developments in the neuroscience area. Jesse also provides physiotherapy input to the Perron Institute clinics that care for people with spasticity and motor neurone disease.
