COVID-19 resources for people living with neurological conditions

Despite the far-reaching effects of COVID-19, our neurological treatment clinics remain open. We understand new and ongoing treatment is essential for people living with neurological conditions.

To ensure all of our patients are cared for appropriately, we are taking critical precautionary measures. We are following the WA Department of Health guidelines to ensure the safety of patients, carers, clinicians and clinical staff. Alternative Perron Institute clinic consultations have been established where possible.

One of the Perron Institute’s consultant neurologists, Dr Athanasios Gaitatzis, has compiled some links about COVID-19 and its effects on neurological disorders. Dr Gaitatzis runs clinics for epilepsy and for epilepsy and pregnancy.

This page includes a list of resources from local, Australian and overseas organisations.

Note: this is only a guide. Please check with your health professional or local association for the latest information.
