Study Aim Description
The Neuropharmacogenetics project is recruiting young adults with a lived experience of depression and/or anxiety. The aim is to gain a better understanding of the strategies to improve the awareness and understanding of personalised medicine techniques in young people. You will be asked to share your understanding of personalised medicine, the ways in which you gather health information, and your perception of the benefits of improving health awareness in young people.
What You Will Do
- Attend one focus group/interview session of approx. 1-1.5 hours
- Receive compensation for your time
Study Eligibility
- 18-24 years of age
- Have a lived experience of depression and/or anxiety
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Able to give informed consent to attend one of the focus group sessions
- Have been prescribed medication by your GP or psychiatrists for treatment of depression and/or anxiety
