Clinical Professor David Blacker AM is a former Medical Director of the Perron Institute.  Now retired, he was clinic neurologist who specialised in the diagnosis and management of a stroke. .

David received recognition as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the King’s Birthday 2023 Honours for services to medicine and neurological research.
