Postdoctoral Research Officer
Adam Edwards is a Postdoctoral Research Officer in the area of Stroke Research at the Perron Institute.
Adam obtained 1st Class Honours in 2014, started his PhD in 2015 through the University of Notre Dame. Adam submitted his thesis and commenced his research role at the Perron Institute at the end of 2018.
Adam’s PhD investigated the potential therapeutic treatment of perinatal hypoxic-ischaemic brain damage, known to cause a number of neurological disorders such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy and behavioural/cognitive impairment.
